Painting Faces

Step 1
Flat Brown V984/140
Base face

Step 2
Tan VGC066
Leave mouth, eyes and a line down the side of the nose in base color

Step 3
Dwarf Skin Tone VGC041
Paint a C, starting at the top near eyes and ending near the bottom near mouth.
Add a touch to nose and chin.
(A line across the top lip in this color doesn't look right - leave as Tan)

Step 4
Elf Skin Tone VGC004
Paint a small circle near cheekbones and a touch on nose and chin.
(Paint was a bit thick - remember to thin paint with water)

Step 5
Elf Skin Tone VGC004 + Light Flesh V928/006 (1:1)
Small dab on the nose, cheek and chin

Make sure all colors are watered down
If too thick the transition between colors will be too stark and the paint too thick.
If too watery the paint will run.
